Marco Perego was born on 1st March 1979, in Salo Italy. He is a former soccer player and an artist. But he is best known for being the husband of Zoe Saldana, a famous American actress.

Marco was raised by his father and his mother as a single child. His father was the waiter and his mother was the housewife. Marco was six years old when he started playing soccer. He attended local elimentary school. Before this he used to watch soccer with his dad on tv.
When he used to play soccer in his school team as a player, he got noticed by one of the coach. After that he provide him the opportunity to play soccer against some other school. Later on, Marco decided not to attend college but to focus on his career as a soccer player. However, he played till he turned 21. He had to leave soccer due to his leg injury which ended his career.

In 2002, Marco moved to New York City to become an artist. He started doing paintings at home and used to sell his paintings. But this wasn’t enough for his survival, so he started doing several jobs such as a waiter and a soccer coach.
The first moment in his career as an artist was in 2003 when he sold one of his paintings to Gilda Moratti, who comes from a very respectable New York family. After that Marco started meeting new people from the local galleries and museums. It took six years in New York for his work to be recognized, and today his picture can be found selling between $15000-$3000.
Marco has been featured on the cover page of “The Guardian” because of his paintings. One can say that Marco is also a filmmaker, as he has created his 25-minute-long movie “Burn to Shine” in which 2,500 of his drawings are shown.

Marco met his love of the life in 2013, and it took only three months to the couple to tie the knot. The ceremony was held a secret so only their best man and woman attended. The two decided to share their last names, becoming Zoe Saldana-Perego and Marco Perego-Saldana and on 27 November 2014, Zoe gave birth to their twin boys Bowie Ezio Perego-Saldana and Cy Aridio Perego-Saldana. Zen was the youngest member in the family, and was welcomed by them in 2017.

Marco is physically very active as he goes to gym regularly. There are fiver sessions in a weel of Marco. Other than this, Marco loves to play variety of sports such as soccer, tennis, etc.He loves to travel. Marco have been there in many countries with his parents.
